Corrections
The planned correction workflow for ShieldID Shop Records. Submissions are disabled because no records are published.
Planned Correction Workflow
When records are published, the correction process will work as follows:
Submission Received
A correction request is submitted identifying the specific record, the claimed error, and any supporting source.
Source Review
ShieldID reviews the original source and the correction claim. Two-person human review is required.
Decision
If the correction is supported, the record is updated. If not, the request is documented and the record stands. Either way, the outcome is logged.
Publication
Approved corrections appear on the record and in the transparency log. The original publication is not erased; the correction is documented alongside it.
Submissions Are Disabled
Submissions are disabled during the testing phase. No correction form is active because no records have been published. There is nothing to correct yet. When records go live, the correction form will be enabled on each record page.
Do not submit correction requests through other ShieldID channels during testing. They will not be processed until the formal correction system is active and a record exists to correct.
